THE HUDDLE ATX | LULULEMON
OUR TEAM HAS NOTICED YOU MAKING POSITIVE WAVES IN THE COMMUNITY. WE’D LIKE TO PERSONALLY INVITE YOU TO THE HUDDLE ATX.
IT’S AN OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE A BREAK FROM THE HUSTLE FOR A WEEKEND OF SWEAT, CONNECTION AND CONVERSATION IN THE WILDERNESS.
The weekend of October 26th was a once in a lifetime experience. Its ingrained in my memory and I am still riding the wave of impact + results it had on me. The drive I got coming out of this weekend is propelling me forward and today I found time to reflect and share my experience with you.
I have been involved with Austin's community for the past 4+ years and about 10 months ago I got in touch with Lululemon. Shout out to Jordan and Jess! A great relationship was built and I could not have been happier to be invited to Lululemon's Huddle ATX weekend.
Lululemon took us out to Flat Creek Ranch (probably my favorite place outside of Austin) for a weekend filled with activities, honest conversations, great food and even better people.
I got to meet 30+ positively minded individuals from the surrounding Austin community. On top of meeting all these new faces I enjoyed the engagement received from the Lululemon community leads (Alex you the man!). They seriously put up one hell of an event. Top notch execution. The swag and gifts were out of this world. Felt really loved and appreciated and taken care of. Thank you.
Going into the event not knowing anyone had me fully engaged, present, and vulnerable to the unexpected. It also enabled me to openly share personal things I would have not on the regular. No cell reception was a strong factor in contributing to my full disconnect and it provided for an authentic experience in nature.
With a disconnected and present mind it was time to give love back to the physical body. We all partook in athletic exercises: mobility & movement, fishing, and mountain biking. Learning how to fly fish was a first for me and a long standing bucket list.
All of the above gave us time to look inside. With the help of Melvin's & Becca's thought provoking exercises I was able to get to the root of where more attention in my life is needed. I think we all openly admitted we are stuck in certain parts of life. Determining the "stuck" factor was step 1 but what good would it be only knowing a change is needed and welcome? We worked on putting some actionable and accountable steps in place so that we achieve the results we want and dream of.
I'm currently in GO mode hungry for them results. Far from them but I'll try to remember to update this post once progress is made :)
Thanks again to everyone involved with this weekend.
